• Job Title: Registered Nurse (ICU) 

• Vacancy type: Regular agency shifts

• Pay rates: earn up to R3264.00* per shift 

We are urgently looking for Registered Nurses with experience in an ICU environment to join our dynamic team in the Western Cape. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Patient Monitoring: continuously assess and monitor critically ill patients’ vital signs and condition using advanced equipment. 

• Medication Administration: administer medications, including IV infusions, sedatives, and pain management, following strict protocols. 

• Ventilator Management: operate and manage ventilators and other life-support systems. 

• Emergency Response: act quickly in medical emergencies, including performing CPR or using defibrillators. 

• Care Coordination: collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop and execute care plans. 

• Invasive Procedure Assistance: support physicians during procedures like intubations, central line placements, and catheter insertions. 

• Family Support: provide updates, emotional support, and guidance to families of critically ill patients.
